<Interactions> Magazine
ACM SIGCHI leadership challenged me and Jonathan Arnowitz to build design representation with the SIGCHI organization and conferences. One way to do this was to initiate new workshops and venues. Another was through our joint editorship of the ACM's Interactions Magazine for three years. In addition to soliciting and editing all of the magazine's content, we added editorials, cartoons, rants, and a column with a snarky bent, 'Ask Dr. Usability.' Following are samples from more than 50 publications in the magazine.
